We recently had the opportunity to design what would seem like the most mundane object on the planet… a garnish pick. And where most bars would cast this element of their drink aside, Adrian Artidiello, Director of Operations at Empire Social Lounge in Miami saw it from a different perspective.
Wanting to differentiate their exclusive cocktails, he sought for ways to brand their unique drink offerings. Where as he could have ordered bamboo picks and called a day, we engaged in a full design conversation including concept, design exploration, material selection and manufacturing mockups for testing. I realize this sounds excessive for a garnish pick but I have always believed that the largest branding statements are made in the smallest of details. The ESL pick design delivers on functionality with fully custom shaping, quality material choice to convey a luxurious feel and a creative cut of the logo for a sophisticated branding statement.
