That last one is where a lot of our customers land, and it’s worth naming explicitly: a small run is a legitimate way to prototype. You get physical samples, real feedback, and a finished product to react to, all without a five-figure commitment.
Know your customization options
We work primarily in two methods, and which one fits depends on your design:
- Laser engraving and cutting: this is where we can get intricate: custom silhouettes, cutout shapes, fine detail work in the stem or head. It reads as premium and tactile, and it’s a strong fit for monograms, botanical or tiki-style motifs, and anything where the shape of the stirrer is part of the design.
- 4-color UV printing on the stirrer head: for full-color logos, gradients, or detailed artwork, this is the way to go. One thing worth flagging up front: we print on the head only, not the stem. If your design depends on color running the full length of the stirrer, laser engraving or a head-focused layout will serve you better than trying to force a full-print concept onto the format.
Knowing this distinction early saves a design revision later. It’s easier to design for the method than to redesign around its limits.
Small runs, not just small minimums
This is the actual difference between us and most stirrer manufacturers: our minimum order is 25 units, and we’re built to comfortably handle anything up to 5,000. That’s not a discount tier bolted onto a large-batch operation, it’s the model.
What that unlocks in practice:
- Prototyping before you scale. Want to test a design with a real bar, a real event, or a small batch of a new signature cocktail before ordering in volume? We can produce a run of 25 without asking you to commit to 50,000 units to find out if it works.
- One-off and single-event orders. Weddings, corporate parties, product launches: anything that only needs to happen once doesn’t need warehouse-sized inventory sitting afterward.
- Faster iteration. Smaller runs mean we can turn around a revision, get a new sample in your hands, and adjust before your event date, instead of one big irreversible print run.
One thing to budget for: if your project needs original artwork or a from-scratch design (rather than personalizing one of our existing styles), that carries a separate design fee. It’s a one-time cost, not a per-unit charge, so it matters most on smaller orders. Worth asking about upfront so it’s not a surprise on the quote.
Expect a real conversation, not a form
We’re a small design studio, which means design questions get answered by a person, not a support queue. If something about your artwork won’t translate well to engraving or UV printing, we’ll tell you before production, not after.
